How to Get Involved

Every year since 1931, hundreds of UWA students get up at the crack of dawn to dress up in costumes and sell a student-made satirical newspaper all across Perth to raise money for Australian charities. Here are some ways you too can get involved in UWA’s oldest and most iconic student tradition — click on each item for more information.

  • Get a feel for what PROSH is by having a look through our website, or reading some old PROSH articles.

  • Follow us on Instagram and Facebook, or join our mailing list to stay up to date with PROSH news, events, and opportunities to get involved!

  • Think you’re kinda funny? Want to contribute to this year’s PROSH paper?

    We’re looking for all kinds of satirical/funny articles about politics, current events, and pop media; plus silly photoshops, fake ads, comics, and more!

    For ideas, check out some old PROSH articles, grab an old copy of PROSH from us, or come to a Writers Night or Layout Weekend to discuss your ideas!

  • Join a team and help us sell PROSH papers this year!

    Ask your FacSoc, College, or clubs that you’re a part of if they’re participating in PROSH this year, or encourage them to register a team!

    You can also register a team of you and your friends.

    Don’t know which club’s team to join? You can also sign up as an individual and we’ll place you with a team!

  • Committee sign-ups have closed for this year, but keep an eye out on our social media in December/January to apply for next year’s committee.

  • Can’t write or sell for PROSH? You can still be a part of the PROSH spirit and help us raise money by buying a copy of PROSH on PROSH Day and helping us raise money for our two amazing charities!
